Fabric print pattern of an illustrated curled up dog

Printed on high quality, 270g heavy weight 100% Gaberdine fabric which is perfect for embroidery

The print including the boarder is a large 25 x 32cm size including plenty of room around the edge of the design to move the hoop when reaching the edge

Washable up to 30 degrees and iron on a medium-medium/hot iron

No need to be able to draw - just simply trace over the lines with thread on the sewing machine or by hand

Attain a great finished embroidery piece easily by emulating the existing lines and imagine how you could create your own version of design and lines as you extend your skill set

The finished sample can be used to mount as a textile artwork, use to applique your finished sample on a bag, a quilt or something else!

Great practise for beginners and improvers to master the skill of freehand machine embroidery.

This is the perfect next level project after the kitten, sketchy cat or terrier designs.

This design gives you clear sketchy lines in two colours for you to follow on the dog with a underpainted tonal background that give a more finished look to your stitched piece.

You could use the grey and black illustrated on the design, or try a different colour such as browns with a grey tone and keep black just for the eyes. The project is yours to make your own. There is no right or wrong. There are no rules. This is simply a spark for your own creative piece.

If you would like to follow my design verbatum, follow my existing drawn lines to hone your skills by following as precisely as possible

A PDF booklet to purchase, similar to the Kitten booklet, with the full instructions of how to create this will be coming soon to accompany this pattern

If you are a complete beginner at Freehand Machine Embroidery and are unsure where to start, I would highly recommend puchasing the Basics PDF booklet which covers all of the materials and set up required for this craft practise
